INTRODUCTION: Several teaching methods have been used in clinical nursing teaching to increase quality and efficiency, but disagreements over their effects persist. This study will evaluate the effects of five teaching methods in clinical nursing on nursing students' knowledge, skill scores, learning satisfaction, and patients' satisfaction. METHODS: We will conduct searches in PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, The Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database (CNKI), China Biological literature database (CBM), Wanfang Database, and China Science and Technology Journal Database (CSTJ) up to April 2022. Relevant randomized controlled trials meeting the eligibility criteria will be included. And the study selection and data extraction will be independently screened for eligibility by two authors. The quality of evidence will be evaluated using the Cochrane risk of bias tool. Pairwise meta-analysis and network meta-analysis (NMA) will be conducted using Rev Man, Stata, and R software. Statistical analyses including homogeneity tests, sensitivity analysis, transitivity tests, consistency tests, and publication bias will be completed. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION: No formal research ethics approval is required. The results will be disseminated to a peer-reviewed journal for publication. PROTOCOL REGISTRATION NUMBER: INPLASY2021120040.
摘要：
This cluster randomized controlled trial aimed to investigate the effects of an intervention to teach resourcefulness on depression and coping style of patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). A convenience sample of 72 patients in community settings took part. Participants in the intervention group (n = 36) received an 8-week intervention based on the concept of resourcefulness, plus routine health education. Participants in the control group (n = 36) received routine health education only. After the intervention, participants in the intervention group had significantly higher scores on resourcefulness and coping styles, and lower scores on depression than those in the control group (both ps < .001). The findings suggest that a well-developed intervention to teach resourcefulness could help patients with CHD to be more resourceful, improve their level of depression, and choose more effective strategies to cope with stress.

Prenatal diagnosis is an important means of early diagnosis of genetic diseases, which can effectively reduce the risk of birth defects. Free fetal cells, as a carrier of intact fetal genetic material, provide hope for the development of high-sensitivity and high-accuracy prenatal diagnosis technology. However, the number of fetal cells is small and it is difficult to apply clinically. In recent years, noninvasive prenatal diagnosis (NIPD) technology for fetal genetic material in maternal peripheral blood has developed rapidly, which makes it possible to diagnose genetic diseases by fetal cells in maternal peripheral blood. This article reviewed the current status of fetal cell separation and enrichment technology and its application in noninvasive prenatal diagnosis technology.

Rehabilitation intervention which refers to the functional training by caregivers with the aid of specialized nursing techniques and the progressive promotion of patients' training initiative, with the purpose of improving mobility and quality of life, is of great significance. The purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of the rehabilitation intervention-centered targeted nursing model on the cardiac function recovery and negative emotions in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). A total of 120 AMI patients admitted to our hospital between January 2019 and January 2020 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into group A (n = 60) and group B (n = 60), in which the group B patients received routine nursing combined with rehabilitation intervention, while based on the treatment in group B, the patients in group A underwent rehabilitation intervention-centered targeted nursing model. Then, the cardiac function indexes, negative emotion score, levels of risk factors for heart failure, complication rate (CR), and the quality of life (QOL) of the patients were compared between the two groups. The cardiac function indexes of the patients after nursing in group A were significantly better than those in group B (P < 0.001); the negative emotion scores of the patients after nursing in group A were significantly lower than those in group B (P < 0.001); the levels of risk factors for heart failure of the patients after nursing in group A were significantly lower than those in group B (P < 0.001); the CR of the patients in group A at 15 d and 30 d after admission was significantly lower than that in group B (P < 0.05); the QOL scores of the patients after nursing in group A were significantly higher than those in group B (P < 0.001). Rehabilitation intervention-centered targeted nursing model can optimize cardiac function, weaken the levels of risk factors for heart failure, reduce the incidence of complications, improve psychological conditions, and enhance the quality of life in AMI patients, which is worthy of application and promotion in clinical practice.

摘要：
Monte Carlo simulations can quantify various types of DNA damage to evaluate the biological effects of ionizing radiation at the nanometer scale. This work presents a study simulating the DNA target response after proton irradiation. A chromatin fiber model and new physics constructors with the ELastic Scattering of Electrons and Positrons by neutral Atoms (ELSEPA) model were used to describe the DNA geometry and the physical stage of water radiolysis with the Geant4-DNA toolkit, respectively. Three key parameters (the energy threshold model for strand breaks, the physics model and the maximum distance to distinguish DSB clusters) of scoring DNA damage were studied to investigate the impact on the uncertainties of DNA damage. On the basis of comparison of our results with experimental data and published findings, we were able to accurately predict the yield of various types of DNA damage. Our results indicated that the difference in physics constructor can cause up to 56.4% in the DNA double-strand break (DSB) yields. The DSB yields were quite sensitive to the energy threshold for strand breaks (SB) and the maximum distance to classify the DSB clusters, which were even more than 100 times and four times than the default configurations, respectively.

Tumor necrosis factor-α-inducing protein (Tipα) is a newly identified toxin that promotes the inflammation and carcinogenesis caused by Helicobacter pylori. However, its mechanism of pathogenesis is still unclear. To investigate the carcinogenic mechanisms of Tipα, SGC7901 cells and SGC7901-derived cancer stem-like cells (CSCs) were stimulated by recombinant Tipα with or without Wnt/β-catenin signaling inhibitor XAV939. qRT-PCR and Western blotting were employed to detect expression of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), CSCs markers and downstream target genes of this signaling pathway. The cell migration ability was measured by wound healing assay and transwell assay. Our results indicated that Tipα promoted CSC properties of SGC7901 spheroids, including increased expression of CSC specific surface markers CD44, Oct4 and Nanog and an increased capacity for self-renewal. Tipα activated Wnt/β-catenin signaling in both SGC7901 cells or CSCs. Furthermore, Tipα induced the EMT and increased the expressions of downstream target genes of this signaling, including c-myc, cyclin D1 and CD44. However, XAV939 pretreatment inhibited Tipα-induced EMT and CSC properties in SGC7901 cells or CSCs. These results suggest that Tipα promotes EMT and CSC-like properties in gastric cancer cells through activation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, thereby accelerating the progression of gastric cancer.

BACKGROUND: Patients diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) have poor sleep quality due to multiple factors. We aimed to assess the sleep status and related factors of TB patients in Shenzhen, China. METHODS: A questionnaire survey was conducted on 461TB patients hospitalized at Shenzhen Third People's Hospital from March 2021 to January 2022, and sleep quality was assessed using the Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI). RESULTS: A total of 459 valid questionnaires were collected, and 238 of the 459TB patients had general or poor sleep quality (PSQI > 5). Patients' gender, marriage, nutritional screening score, family atmosphere, fear of discrimination, fear of interactions, and the impact of the disease on their work life had significant effects on sleep quality (P < 0.05); PSQI scores of TB patients were negatively correlated with lymphocyte counts (r = - 0.296, P < 0.01), T-lymphocyte counts (r = - 0.293, P < 0.01), helper T lymphocyte counts (r = - 0.283, P < 0.01), killer T lymphocyte counts (r = - 0.182, P < 0.05), and were positively correlated with depression scores (r = 0.424, P < 0.01). Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that male (OR = 1.64,95% CI 1.11-2.42, P < 0.05), unmarried (OR = 1.57, 95% CI 1.02-2.42, P < 0.05), NRS score grade 3(OR = 5.35, 95% CI 2.08-15.73, P < 0.01), general family atmosphere (OR = 2.23, 95% CI 1.07-4.93, P < 0.05), and the disease affecting work (OR = 1.66, 95% CI 1.11-2.50, P < 0.05) were factors influencing poor sleep quality. CONCLUSION: Most TB patients had varying degrees of sleep disturbance, which may be affected by their gender, marriage, family atmosphere, nutritional status, the effect of the disease on work life, and, depression, as well as lower absolute T-lymphocyte subpopulation counts. Appropriate interventions should be implemented to improve their sleep quality, when treating or caring for such patients.

摘要：
Fibrosis is a common feature of fibrotic diseases that poses a serious threat to global health due to high morbidity and mortality in developing countries. There exist some chemical compounds and biomolecules associated with the development of fibrosis, including cytokines, hormones, and enzymes. Among them, glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4), as a selenoprotein antioxidant enzyme, is widely found in the embryo, testis, brain, liver, heart, and photoreceptor cells. Moreover, it is shown that GPX4 elicits diverse biological functions by suppressing phospholipid hydroperoxide at the expense of decreased glutathione (GSH), including loss of neurons, autophagy, cell repair, inflammation, ferroptosis, apoptosis, and oxidative stress. Interestingly, these processes are intimately related to the occurrence of fibrotic disease. Recently, GPX4 has been reported to exhibit a decline in fibrotic disease and inhibit fibrosis, suggesting that alterations of GPX4 can change the course or dictate the outcome of fibrotic disease. In this review, we summarize the role and underlying mechanisms of GPX4 in fibrosis diseases such as lung fibrosis, liver fibrosis, kidney fibrosis, cardiac fibrosis, and myelofibrosis.
摘要：
Duodenal duplication is a rare congenital anomaly and may manifest as pancreatitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, abdominal pain, perforation, and obstruction. Here, we present a case of intraluminal diverticular duodenal duplication (IDDD) in a child with recurrent abdominal pain caused by a large hole-like structure in the duodenal bulb. This condition has rarely been reported. An 11-year-old boy presented with recurrent attacks of abdominal pain. Upper endoscopy examination and barium swallowing led to an initial diagnosis of IDDD; this diagnosis was confirmed by operative findings and histopathological signs. He underwent a subtotal excision and duodenal anastomosis. No serious complications occurred following treatment. The patient was followed up for 8 months, and his condition improved without symptoms.

摘要：
To explore the adoption effect of nano-silver medical antibacterial dressing in the perioperative treatment of patients with laryngeal cancer, 120 patients with early laryngeal cancer were selected as the research objects. According to the different treatments, they were averagely divided into the test group (laser vocal cord surgery under a laryngeal microscope and nano-silver medical antibacterial dressing) and the control group (laser vocal cord surgery under a laryngeal microscope and sterilized vaseline gauze). The results showed that there were considerable differences in dressing-change times, dressing -change cost, hospital stay, and recovery time between both groups (P < 0.05). The number of mild pain cases in the test group was more than that in the control group at 1, 3, and 5 days after surgery, with statistically considerable differences (P < 0.05). There were substantial differences in wound area between the two groups at 3 and 5 days after surgery, and the test group was larger than the control group (P < 0.05). In the test group, 0 patients had postoperative reinfection, wound dehiscence, and wound hernia. In the control group, 3 patients had postoperative reinfection, 1 had wound dehiscence, and 1 had wound hernia. In summary, compared with traditional sterilized vaseline gauze, the nano -silver medical antibacterial dressing could reduce postoperative dressing pain and promote the recovery of wounds, thus shortening the hospital stay and improving the quality of life of patients after surgery. & nbsp;Copyright: (c) 2022 by the C.M.B. AIM: To determine the level of critical cultural competence (CCC) among Chinese clinical nurses and explore its influencing factors. BACKGROUND: Previous research has only focused on the theoretical model of CCC and the development of assessment tools; however, no large-scale study has been conducted on the level of clinical nurses' CCC and its influencing factors. METHOD: Clinical nurses in 14 Level A tertiary hospitals (n = 3858) were surveyed using Almutairi's critical cultural competence scale (CCCS). Descriptive, univariate and multivariate analyses were performed. RESULTS: The mean score of CCC was 4.44 (SD = 0.33). Critical empowerment (M = 4.85, SD = 0.58) and critical awareness (M = 3.57, SD = 0.99) had the highest and lowest scores, respectively. Female nurses, nurses in the nursing department and nurses with higher positions had higher CCC. CONCLUSION: The CCC of clinical nurses can be strengthened through targeted training, especially considering the fact that male and low-ranking nurses who had the lower level of CCC work in different departments. IMPLICATIONS FOR NURSING MANAGEMENT: Hospital administrators should pay attention to the importance of culture and cultural differences among different countries or ethnic groups. Creating an equal and fair nursing environment and encouraging nurses to provide critical cultural nursing is important.

OBJECTIVE: To assess the awareness, attitude and barriers of colorectal cancer screening among high-risk populations in China. DESIGN: A cross-sectional study was employed. SETTING: This study was conducted in nine hospitals in Hunan province, China. PARTICIPANTS: Individuals with a high-risk for colorectal cancer were interviewed using a pretested structured questionnaire. PRIMARY AND SECONDARY OUTCOME MEASURES: Knowledge, attitude towards colorectal cancer screening, sociodemographic factors associated with screening knowledge and behaviour and barriers of colorectal cancer screening. RESULTS: This study included 684 participants. The mean knowledge score was 11.86/24 (SD 4.84). But over 70% of them held a positive attitude towards screening. Only 13.3% had undergone colorectal cancer screening. Independent factors related to knowledge were education level of college or above, working as a white collar, higher income, having health insurance, having seen a doctor in the past year and with a high perceived risk (p<0.05). Factors independently associated with screening behaviour included personal history of colorectal disease, having seen a doctor in the past year, previous discussion of colorectal cancer screening, high perceived risk and better knowledge (p<0.05). Main reasons for not undergoing screening were no symptoms or discomfort (71.1%), never having thought of the disease or screening (67.4%) and no doctor advised me (29.8%). CONCLUSION: In China, the majority of high-risk people had deficient knowledge and had never undergone colorectal cancer screening. But most of them held a positive attitude towards the benefits of colorectal cancer screening. This has promising implications to design targeted educational campaigns and establish screening programmes to improve colorectal cancer awareness and screening participation. Healthcare professionals should advise high-risk individuals to participate in screening and inform them about cancer risk.

N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is the most abundant and prevalent epigenetic modification of mRNA in mammals. This dynamic modification is regulated by m6A methyltransferases and demethylases, which control the fate of target mRNAs through influencing splicing, translation and decay. Recent studies suggest that m6A modification plays an important role in the progress of cardiac remodeling and cardiomyocyte contractile function. However, the exact roles of m6A in cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) have not been fully explained. In this review, we summarize the current roles of the m6A methylation in the progress of CVDs, such as cardiac remodeling, heart failure, atherosclerosis (AS), and congenital heart disease. Furthermore, we seek to explore the potential risk mechanisms of m6A in CVDs, including obesity, inflammation, adipogenesis, insulin resistance (IR), hypertension, and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), which may provide novel therapeutic targets for the treatment of CVDs.
