摘要:
A year-long monitoring of gamma radiation effective dose rate and radon concentration had been done in the reservoir area of one uranium tailings pond in Hunan province (The monitoring area included indoor and outdoor area of residential buildings and workshops, tailings dam slope). Afterwards, the annual effective radiation dose of the people in that radiation environment had been calculated based on the results of monitoring, as well as a radiation risk assessment. According to the assessment, gamma radiation effective dose rate and radon concentration in the monitoring area were low, and the annual effective radiation dose was far below the international standard (30mSv), which showed that the radiation would not put the people's health at risk. However, the annual effective radiation dose of gamma was far above that of radon in the area of uranium tailings pond; therefore, it's advisable to take quarantine measures in in the area of uranium tailings pond to keep the surrounding residents away from unnecessary ionizing radiation.

In order to reveal the adsorption mechanism of the ferric chloride modified humic acid on uranium, the influence of pH value and contact time of adsorption on uranium was studied through a series of batch experiments. Meanwhile, the adsorption kinetics was analyzed with pseudo-first order kinetic model and pseudo-second order kinetic model. The results show that adsorption is affected by the pH value of the solution and by contract time, and the best condition for adsorption on uranium is at pH=5 and the adsorption equilibrium time is about 80 min. Kinetics of HA-Fe adsorption on uranium accords with pseudo-second order kinetic model. The adsorption is mainly chemical adsorption, and complexes were produced by the reaction between uranium ions and the functional groups on the surface of HA-Fe, which can provide reference for further study of humic acid effecting on the migration of U(VI) in soil.

In underground uranium mines of China, there are many chamber stopes that can generate and accumulate radon and its daughters, the concentrations of which are about 3-5 times higher than other countries. Therefore, it is very urgent to improve the level of radiation protection of the chamber stopes in China. Ventilation is one of the effective ways to control the concentrations of radon and its daughters. First, this study established the mathematical models that calculated the concentration of radon and its daughters in the chamber stope for designing and optimizing ventilation systems by using the theories of turbulent mass transfer and radioactive decay. Second, the models were used to analyze radon and its daughters' concentrations with the change of airflow rate, air volume, and radon generation rate in chamber stope. Third, the ventilation conditions of chamber stopes of four typical uranium mines in China were investigated and the models to calculate radon and its daughters' concentrations were used to verify its accuracy. Finally, the difference is analyzed between the measured values and the theoretical values of the total Potential Alpha Energy Concentration (PAEC) of radon daughters and a linear correction formula was established.

摘要:
A calculation model for radon concentration in shrinkage mining stopes under various ventilation conditions was established in this study. The model accounts for the influence of permeability and area of the blasted ore heap, ventilation air quantity, and airflow direction on radon concentration in a confined workspace; these factors work together to allow the engineer to optimize the ventilation design. The feasibility and effectiveness of the model was verified by applying it to mines with elevated radon radiation exposure. The model was found to accurately changes in radon concentration according to the array of influence factors in underground uranium mines.

Aiming at the problem of high cost of cable layout and poor maintenance in traditional radioactive pollution monitoring for uranium tailings, considering banded dam and little node connectivity, a weight optimized centroid localization algorithm is proposed. Under different index, by comparing the positioning accuracy and the influence of the external disturbance, new algorithm changes the index of weight and measured distance -1 to -1.5, resulting in an accuracy improvement in long distance. Simulation demonstrated that compared with centroid localization algorithm and maximum likelihood estimation, average positioning error of the new algorithm was reduced by 37.5% and 30.7%, and the maximum positioning error was reduced by 1/5 and by 2/5. With high reliability and stability, the new algorithm can meet the requirements of position in radioactive pollution monitoring for uranium tailings.

Dynamic shear modulus and damping ratio are two main parameters for describing the dynamic performance of aeolian soils. This paper presents the influence of the confining pressure, the consolidation ratio and the vibration frequency on the dynamic shear modulus and the damping ratio of aeolian soils with a series of dynamic triaxial tests. Experimental results show that the dynamic shear modulus of aeolian soils increases with the confining pressure and the consolidation ratio, while the damping ratio decreasing with them; both of the dynamic shear modulus and the consolidation ratio increases with the vibration frequency, but the influence is less than that of the confining pressure and the consolidation ratio.

Total suspended particle (TSP) and fine particulate matter (PM2.5) samples were collected continuously using an atmospheric particulate matter sampler at sampling points in a tailings reservoir in the south from October 28 to November 3, 2013. The mass concentrations of particulate matter in the air, the contents, and morphological analysis of heavy metal elements (Pb, Cd, U, Cu) were also studied. The results indicate that the air particulate matter concentrations exceed the mass concentration limits of national Grade II ambient air quality standard (GB3095-2012); The heavy metals content in air particulate matter from high to low order is: Pb > Cu > U > Cd and heavy metals are easier to be concentrated on fine particulate matter (PM2.5); heavy metal elements (Pb, Cd, Cu) exist mainly in the exchangeable morphology, especially the element Cd.

The experimental treatment of emulsifying wastewater containing fluo rescent permeating agent is conducted using demulsification, flocculation, sedimentation and Fenton processes. The experimental results show that, under the appropriate conditions, the COD, oil and chromaticity can be removed efficiently. The pH, COD, oil and chromaticity of the outwater can reach the national standards.

The length of the pre-splitting crack is an important parameter in underground mine deep-hole blasting, and experience and engineering analogy methods are used commonly, but they seldom have scientific and theoretical basis. In this paper, the mature numerical analysis software - ANSYS/LS-DYNA was adopted, the different lengths of pre-splitting crack were simulated. In the filling body, the corresponding maximum blasting vibration velocity and stress are obtained by numerical simulation when the maximum initiation section blasted. The corresponding regression formulas are obtained by using the least square method, and the optimal length of the pre-splitting crack is 12 m through the calculation. Proved by practice, this method to get the length of the pre-splitting crack is scientific and effective, can be extended in other similar blasting engineering.

The farmland soil and creek sediments in different depth in the mining area were sampled, and their content of 238U,226Ra and 232Th were determined by gamma spectrometric method to assess the impact of the soil environment by single index method. The result shows 232Th was not influenced on soil in survey area. 226Ra influenced more seriously than 238U on farmland soil, meanwhile, the farmland soil at downstream of tailings dam was contaminated seriously by radionuclides than at other places. For creak sediments ,adit water resulted in more serious pollution by 238U than 226Ra, however, tailings erosion resulted in more serious pollution by 226Ra than 238U.

Bridge erecting machine has been widely used nowadays with its efficiency, while just as a coin has two sides, it also brings problem. If a rollover happens, it will lead to equipment damage, casualties or other disastrous accidents. How could technicians take measures to prevent accidents as efficiently as possible? Question remains unsaved. Based on the analysis of “10.26” bridge erecting machine tipping accident, this paper gives a qualitative analysis on the accident by using fault tree analysis. Firstly, fault tree diagram for the bridge erecting machine tipping, namely the causal and generalization relation between events is formulated. All the basic events that influence the way and the degree of the accident are identified, and these can be ascribed to the following three aspects: manufacturing defect, personnel operating error and management oversight. In terms of management oversight, the responsibility of construction unit, safety supervision department and supervision unit are of great importance. Secondly, combining the minimal path set with the structure importance, we conduct a qualitative analysis on the personnel casualties resulted from the accident, thus seek critical approaches to accident prevention. Finally corresponding safety control measures are put forward. It is noteworthy that the approach can be applied in the similar accidents entirely.

August 12, 2011, a locomotive runaway has happened on the local railway named Xihe railway of a certain city, it led to a death of an older person and serious damage of four automobiles. The causing factors of the runaway accident have been comprehensively analyzed, which respectively include four aspects: human, machine, environment and management. By using the principle of fault tree analysis (FTA), the locomotive runaway accident fault tree has been set up after the accident investigation. Based on the corresponding formula, the authors have calculated the structure importance coefficient of each basic event. By analyzing the causation of the events, the minimal path sets have been obtained, and the order of the structure importance has also been obtained. Through the above analysis, the reasons of this accident have been analyzed systematically and the corresponding safety countermeasures have been proposed. The stabilization of slopes by placing passive piles is one of the innovative slope reinforcement techniques in recent years. There are numerous empirical and numerical methods for designing stabilizing piles. They can generally be classified into two different types: (1) pressure/displacement-based methods; (2) finite element/finite difference methods. However, seldom studies have been done on the stratified rock slope reinforced by piles, so in the present paper, the numerical simulation software FLAC3D is adopted to model the stratified rock slope, then the reinforced effect like deformation and stress of slope are studied, showing that if the pile is driven at the mid-bottom place of slope surface, the effect of controlling deformation of rock mass is the best. With increase of the length of pile, the maximum displacement of slope is decreased gradually.
