Amplified electrochemical determination of UO2 2+ based on the cleavage of the DNAzyme and DNA-modified gold nanoparticle network structure

A superior electrochemical biosensor was designed for the determination of UO2 2+ in aqueous solution by integration of DNAzyme and DNA-modified gold nanoparticle (DNA-AuNP) network structure. Key features of this method include UO2 2+ inducing the cleavage of the DNAzyme and signal amplification of DNA-AuNP network structure. In this electrochemical method, the DNA-AuNP network structure can be effectively modified on the surface of gold electrode and then employed as an ideal signal amplification unit to generate amplified electrochemical response by inserting a large amount of electrochemically active indicator methylene blue (MB). In the presenceof UO2 2+, the specific sites on DNA-AuNP network structure can be cleaved by UO2 2+, releasing the DNA-AuNP network structure with detectable reduction of electrochemical response intensity. The electrochemical response intensity isrelated to the concentration of UO2 2+. The logarithm of electrochemical response intensity and UO2 2+ concentration showed a wide linear range of 10~100pM, and the detection limit reached 8.1pM (S/N = 3). Burning municipal waste produces a great deal of harmful heavy metals, which may lead to elevated exposure in incinerator workers and residents living nearby. However, relevant human exposure studies remain scarce, especially in China. This study aimed to determine the concentrations of ten heavy metals in urine of incinerator workers (n = 119, as the exposed group) and residents living nearby (n = 215, as the control group) from Shenzhen (China), and explore the associations between heavy metal exposure and DNA oxidative stress (indicated by 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine or 8-OHdG) in humans. The median urinary concentrations of manganese (Mn), iron (Fe), chromium (Cr), arsenic (As), selenium (Se) and 8-OHdG in the exposed group were significantly higher than those in the control group (p < 0.05), suggesting occupational exposure elevated heavy metal intake for the incinerator workers. Nevertheless, there is no correlation statistically significant between the concentrations of any heavy metal and 8-OHdG in urine in the exposed group, indicating heavy metals releasing from waste incineration were not important factors to induce DNA oxidative stress. To our knowledge, this study firstly reported the concentrations of heavy metal in urine and their associations with DNA oxidative damage in waste incinerator workers in Shenzhen, China. In this work, a novel composite hydrogel (PCG) was constructed by mixing amidoxime polyacrylonitrile, chitosan and graphene oxide. The structure characterization of PCG was successfully investigated by FTIR, SEM. The effects of the pH, initial concentration of metal ion and contact time were conducted by a batch of experiments. PCG showed higher adsorption selectivity for U(VI) and its maximum adsorption capacity can reach up 247 mg/g. PCG can be completely separate from the aqueous solution and displayed excellent regeneration ability which would not cause secondary pollution to water bodies. The sorption kinetics of PCG for U(VI) followed pseudo-second order model well and Langmuir model were used to describe the equilibrium data well, which indicated that a monolayer adsorption occurred on PCG and the chemisorption was the main rate-limiting step. This work proved that PCG could be considered as the effective and promising material for removal of U(VI) from aqueous solution. © 2020 Elsevier B.V.

The adsorption characteristics of phosphorylated Aspergillus niger (AN-P) for uranium(VI) were studied in this work. The AN-P was successfully prepared by the reaction of Aspergillus niger with phosphorus pentoxide in ice-bath under the catalysis of methanesulphonic acid. AN-P was characterized by FT-IR and SEM–EDS. The effects of pH, contact time, initial U(VI) ions concentration, adsorbent dosage and temperature on the adsorption of U(VI) by AN-P were investigated. The isotherm and kinetic data were accurately described by the Langmuir and pseudo-second-order models, respectively. The calculated thermodynamic parameters indicated that the adsorption of U(VI) by AN-P was an spontaneous and endothermic process. This indicated that the AN-P composite is a promising adsorbent for efficient removal of U(VI) from radioactive wastewater. © 2019, Akadémiai Kiadó, Budapest, Hungary.

健康中国战略背景下,地方高校公共卫生与预防医学研究生教育面临一系列的机遇与挑战。南华大学公共卫生学院围绕下得去、留得住的高素质公共卫生人才培养目标,改革教育教学理念,构建了"一中心两基本点三注重"的公共卫生与预防医学研究生人才培养体系。促进公共卫生与预防医学研究生专业课程教学改革,构建了"四个突出"的公共卫生职业能力培养保障体系。加强校外公共卫生与预防医学研究生培养基地建设,把双导师制落到实处。结合学校特色、促进学科交叉,组建公共科研平台,为研究生培养提供项目与平台支撑。为地方高校开展公共卫生与预防医学研究生教育教学改革提供了借鉴和参考。

The ethylenediamine-modified Aspergillus niger (EMAN) and amidoxime-modified A. niger (AMAN) had been successfully prepared and then characterized by means of FTIR and SEM–EDX. The selective adsorption features of raw A. niger (RAN), EMAN, and AMAN for UO2 2+ over other coexistent heavy metal ions, such as Fe3+, Pb2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+, and Co2+ had been investigated in a multi-metal system and a binary system. At the optimum pH which was 5, the orders of selectivity biosorption of EMAN and AMAN in a multi-metal system were UO2 2+ ≫ Fe3+ > Pb2+ > Cu2+ > Zn2+ > Cd2+ > Co2+ and UO2 2+≫ Fe3+ > Cu2+ > Pb2+ > Zn2+ > Co2+ > Cd2+, respectively. In a binary system, Fe3+, Pb2+, and Cu2+ suppressed the biosorption capacity of EMAN and AMAN for U(VI), while there was very slight interference from Zn2+, Co2+, and Cd2+ with the biosorption for U(VI). From the selectivity coefficients in both multi-metal and binary system, EMAN and AMAN prefer to uranyl ion than other metal ions, which were much better than RAN. As expected, the results indicated that the modified A. niger could be the effective and selective biosorbent for uranyl ion. © 2018, Islamic Azad University (IAU).

A biosorbent, 4-sulfonylcalix[6]arene modified Fe(3)O(4)@Aspergillus Niger (MFSC), was successfully prepared through a two-step route for the effective removal of uranium (U(VI)) from aqueous solutions with high selectivity. The structure of MFSC was characterized by FT-IR, SEM, XRD, TGA and VSM, respectively. The impacts of various experimental parameters were investigated in detail. The results indicated that the biosorption of U(VI) on MFSC was mainly attributed to the electrostatic attraction (91% within 8 hours for U(VI)). The adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherm of U(VI) were found to follow the pseudo second-order model and to be fitted by the Langmuir model, respectively. The thermodynamic parameters revealed that the adsorption process was spontaneous and endothermic. The findings herein highlight the MFSC with high ability for removal of U(VI) from aqueous solutions.

The Nano-PY-MCM-41@Fe3O4 (NPMF), a new kind of nano material, was prepared by the hydrothermal method. In this work, its characteristic and the composite construction were analyzed through such series of means as SEM, TEM, IR, TGA, XRD, VSM, N2 adsorption desorption isotherm curve and so on, the adsorption capacity of NPMF for the low concentration uranium-bearing solutions was investigated through NPMF adsorption for U(VI) experiment and cycle adsorption experiment, the effects of initial pH, adsorption temperature, contact time and other factors on its biosorption of U(VI) were studied. The adsorption isotherm fitted well to Langmuir model and adsorption process followed false secondary dynamics model, so we can draw the conclusion that the adsorption process was mainly composed of single layer chemical adsorption, which is supported by multilayer adsorption and hole diffusion. The van't Hoff equation fitted well to adsorption thermodynamic parameter, indicating that the adsorption is an endothermic process, the adsorption reaction is feasible and spontaneous. In addition, some experiment datas showed that the NPMF has good adsorption properties on low concentration U(Ⅵ), and it has the advantages of quick response realization, high efficiency, being easy to separate from liquid by external magnetic field and good renewable performance and others. © 2018 Elsevier Inc.

The Aspergillus niger magnetic bioadsorbent ANFAN (amidoxime modified Nano-Fe3O4-Aspergillus niger, ANFAN) was prepared by amine oximation reaction with Aspergillus niger and nano-Fe3O4. The effects of initial pH value, adsorption time, adsorbent dosage, initial uranium concentration and coexisting ions on the adsorption of ANFAN for uranyl ion were studied in detail. The results showed that under the optimum adsorption conditions, the maximum adsorption efficiency of ANFAN for U(VI) solution amounted to 92.35%, and the maximum biosorption capacity could reach 23.38 mg/g. The kinetic data followed the pseudo-second-order model which indicated that the adsorption for uranium was mainly chemical activity on the surface of ANFAN. The adsorption equilibrium data fitted the Langmuir isotherm model well, which indicated that the adsorption of ANFAN for uranium was a single layer of chemical adsorption. Adsorption thermodynamics studies indicated that adsorption of ANFAN for uranium was a viable, spontaneous and endothermic process. The study provided a novel magnetic biosorbent with high adsorption capacity and a new method of adsorption for low concentrations of uranium.

目的 了解衡阳地区人群微量元素缺乏情况.方法 将2017年8月至2018年7月南华大学附属第一医院9140例体检者按年龄分为婴儿组、幼儿组、学龄前组、学龄儿童组、少年组及成人组,分别检测其钙(Ca)、铜(Cu)、铁(Fe)、镁(Mg)、锌(Zn)水平.结果 各组人群Ca、Cu、Fe、Mg、Zn平均水平均在参考范围内;各年龄组人群中Fe和Zn缺乏率相似,婴幼儿组最高,少年组最低;少年组Ca缺乏率最高,成人组最低;成人组M g缺乏率最高,学龄前儿童组最低;学龄儿童组Cu缺乏率最高,婴幼儿组最低,组间差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05).该地区人群对Ca的缺乏率最高.结论 该地区婴幼儿容易出现Zn、Ca及Fe缺乏,而学龄儿童与少年也易缺乏Ca,该地区人群较高的Ca缺乏率也不容忽视,应该根据其特点,加强健康教育,优化膳食结构,合理饮食,补给微量元素,提高全民身体素质.

摘要:
This work describes a method for the determination of 1-hydroxypyrene (OH-Py) via aggregation-induced quenching of the emission of protamine-coated gold nanoclusters using 9-hydroxyphenanthrene (OH-Phe) as a sensitizer to boost the emission efficiency of nanoprobe. Under optimum conditions, the drop in fluorescence intensity at excitation/emission wavelengths of 300/596nm is proportional to the concentrations of OH-Py in the range from 1.0 to 65nM. The relative standard deviations are 4.2, 2.4 and 1.9% (for n= 11) at concentration levels of 8.0, 32 and 48nM of OH-Py, respectively. The detection limit is 0.3nM which is much lower than that of some previously reported methods. The recoveries from urine samples spiked with OH-Py ranged between 94.4 and 98.8%. 摘要:
以亲铀真菌黑曲霉和纳米Fe_3O_4为原料,制备了一种新型黑曲霉磁性生物吸附剂(Nano-Fe_3O_4 modified Aspergillus niger,NFAN) 。研究了初始pH值、吸附时间、吸附剂投加量以及铀初始浓度等对NFAN吸附铀酰离子的影响,分析了吸附铀过程的动力学及热力学规律。结果表明,NFAN在初始浓度为6 mg/L,pH =7,NFAN的用量为0.15 g/L,吸附4 h。在此条件下,NFAN的铀吸附量为60.05 mg/g,铀吸附率可达76.36%,吸附过程符合准二级动力学模型。

摘要:
The 4-sulfonylcalix[6]arene modified Fe3O4 (MFS) was characterized by FT-IR, SEM, VSM, TGA, etc., which showed that its saturation magnetization was 64.99 emug−1 with the particle size 10–40nm. The maximum adsorption efficiency by MFS for 2.5mgL−1 U(VI) solution amounted to 94.39%, which was higher than that by Fe3O4 (65.22%) under its optimum adsorption conditions. The adsorption of MFS and Fe3O4 were both followed the pseudo-second order model and the Langmuir isotherm model. The Gibbs free energy change and enthalpy change revealed that the adsorption of U(VI) by MFS was a spontaneous and endothermic process. © 2017, Akadémiai Kiadó, Budapest, Hungary.

In this paper, cheap liquorice residue was used to prepare activated carbon (AC), thioacetamide (TAA) was used to modify the AC, and the adsorption experiments were conducted in the simulated acid radioactive wastewater with low uranium concentration to study the adsorption behavior and mechanism for uranium by TAA modified AC (TAA–AC). The removal efficiency by TAA–AC was 92.1–98.2% from the 1mgL−1 uranium solution at pH 2–6. The adsorption equilibrium data were well fitted by Dubinin–Radushkevich model, and the maximum adsorption capacity was estimated to be 340mgg−1. TAA–AC showed an enhanced selectivity for uranium in the presence of competitive ions. Furthermore, the adsorption experiments were conducted in the actual acid radioactive wastewater with low uranium concentration from an in situ leach uranium mine. The high adsorption rate (98.3%) and selectivity (Kd = 3.78×104mLg−1) for uranium were observed in the actual acid radioactive wastewater, and the adsorption rate was found to maintain 96.2% over six cycles of adsorption–desorption. © 2018, Akadémiai Kiadó, Budapest, Hungary.

摘要:
目的 建立超高效液相色谱-质谱(UPLC-MS/MS)检测尿液中马尿酸和甲基马尿酸的新方法. 方法 实验采用反相T3色谱柱,以乙腈-甲醇-0.1%甲酸水溶液为流动相,等度洗脱,通过电喷雾三重四级杆质谱检测. 结果 该方法实现了马尿酸和甲基马尿酸的三个同分异构体的基线分离和检测,方法检出限低(马尿酸0.07 μg/L,甲基马尿酸0.1 μg/L),线性范围广(1~10 000 μg/L均具有良好的线性关系). 结论 超高效液相色谱-质谱检测尿液中马尿酸和甲基马尿酸具有较好的应用前景.

A new type of magnetic bioadsorbent (CDAB) was synthesized by reaction of amidoxime modified calix[6]arene derivative with the Aspergillus niger-Fe3O4 bio-nanocomposite, the bioadsorbent have been well characterized with FT-IR, SEM-EDS, XPS and VSM. The effects of various experimental parameters include pH, contact time, initial uranium(VI) concentration, adsorbent dosage and temperature on the bioadsorption of uranium(VI) were investigated in detail. Adsorption experimental results showed the adsorption process of CDAB was pseudo-second order kinetic model and Langmuir adsorption isotherm model. The maximum adsorption capacities of CDAB were calculated to be 77.04mgg−1 for uranium(VI). The adsorption efficiency of CDAB towards U(VI) could reach at 83.6% with a considerable selectivity. In addition, the thermodynamic parameters indicated that the adsorption process was spontaneous and endothermic. © 2018, Akadémiai Kiadó, Budapest, Hungary.

摘要:
制备了4-磺酰杯[6]芳烃修饰的Fe_3O_4磁性纳米粒子(MFS),利用MFS对铀废液进行吸附。其结构经红外(IR) 、扫描电镜(SEM) 、振动样品磁强计(VSM) 、热综合分析仪(TGA)等进行表征,表明MFS的粒径在10 ~ 40 nm,饱和磁化强度为65 emu /g,具有超顺磁性和良好的热稳定性。在100 mL铀初始浓度2.5 mg /L,pH为6,吸附时间3.5 h,吸附剂用量0.015 g,温度50 ℃的条件下,最大吸附率为94.39%。由此可见,MFS是一种在放射性污染防控和铀资源循环利用领域极具应用前景的功能化磁性纳米材料。

摘要:
Magnetic graphene oxide/calix[6] arene (MGO-C6) composites were prepared and then characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Scanning electron microscope, X-ray diffraction and Thermo gravimetric analyzer, the adsorption of U(VI) by MGO-C6 from aqueous solution was investigated as a function of pH, contact time, initial U(VI) concentration and adsorbent dosage. The maximum adsorption rate of MGO-C6 can reach up to 93.21%, which was highly efficient for the removal of U(VI) under the condition of 1 mg/L initial uranium concentration. In addition, the selective adsorption experiment showed that MGO-C6 had an overall preference for U(VI). Adsorption process of MGO-C6 fitted well with the pseudo-second-order kinetic kinetics and the Langmuir isotherm model. The thermodynamic parameters illustrated that the adsorption process was endothermic and spontaneous. This work demonstrated that MGO-C6 was a promising adsorbent for removal of U(VI) from low concentration uranium-containing wastewater.
