Using data samples collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring, we measure the cross sections of the e(+)e(-) -> pi(+)pi-D+D- process at center-of-mass energies from 4.190 to 4.946 GeV with a partial reconstruction method. Resonance structures are seen and the cross section line shape can be described by the coherent sum of either two Breit-Wigner functions or a Breit-Wigner function and a phase space term. The mass and width of the resonance at about 4.4 GeV are determined to be (4371.6 +/- 2.5 +/- 9.2) MeV/c(2) and (167 +/- 4 +/- 29) MeV, respectively, which are in agreement with those of the psi(4360) or Y(4390) state. The spin-3D-wave charmonium state X(3842) is searched for through the e(+)e(-) -> pi(+)pi X-(3842) -> pi(+)pi-D+D- process, and evidence with a significance of 4.2 sigma is found in the data samples with center-of-mass energies from 4.6 to 4.7 GeV.

Using a sample of (10.09 +/- 0.04) x 10(9) J/Psi events collected with the BESIII detector, a partial wave analysis of J/Psi -> gamma eta'eta' is performed. The masses and widths of the observed resonances and their branching fractions are reported. The main contribution is from J/Psi -> gamma f(0) (2020) with f(0) (2020) -> eta'eta', which is found with a significance of greater than 25 sigma. The product branching fraction B(J/Psi -> gamma f(0) (2020)) -> eta'eta') is measured to be (2.63 +/- 0.06(stat.)(-0.46)(+0.31)(syst.)) x 10(-4).

Based on a sample of (10.09 +/- 0.04 )x10(9) J /psi events collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring, a partial wave analysis of the decay J/psi -> gamma eta eta ' is performed. An isoscalar state with exotic quantum numbers J(P) (C)=1(-+), denoted as eta(1)(1855 ), has been observed for the first time with statistical significance larger than 19 sigma . Its mass and width are measured to be (1855 +/- 9(-1)(+6)) MeV /c(2) and (188 +/- 18(-8)(+3)) MeV , respectively. The first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. The product branching fraction B (J /psi -> gamma eta(1)(1855 ))B (eta(1)(1855 )->eta eta ') is measured to be (2.70 +/- 0.41(-0.35)(+0.16))x10(-6) . In addition, an upper limit on the ratio of branching fractions B (f(0)(1710 )->eta eta ')/B (f(0)(1710 )->pi pi) is determined to be 1.61 x10(-3) at 90% confidence level, which lends support to the hypothesis that the f(0)(1710 ) has a large glueball component.

BACKGROUND: Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are forms of non-coding RNAs that have crucial roles in regulation of various biological processes of several malignant tumors. circKIF4A is closely associated with malignant progression of a variety of cancers. However, the molecular mechanisms as well as roles of circKIF4A in osteosarcoma (OS) have not yet been clearly elucidated. METHODS: We evaluated the expression of circKIF4A in OS. Colony-formation, cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8), transwell and mice metastasis model assays were done to explore the roles of circKIF4A in vitro and in vivo. TargetScan database, double luciferase, quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction analysis (RT-qPCR), and RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) were done to investigate the associated molecular mechanisms. RESULTS: In both OS cells and tissues, circKIF4A (hsa_circ_0007255) was found to be upregulated. In vitro and in vivo, circKIF4A knockdown markedly suppressed OS proliferation as well as metastasis. circKIF4A enhanced OS growth as well as metastasis by sponging miR-515-5p and by upregulating SLC7A11. CONCLUSIONS: We identified the biological significance of the circKIF4A-miR-515-5p-SLC7A11 axis in OS cell proliferation and metastasis, which is important in OS monitoring and treatment. More studies on circKIF4A will inform on the diagnostic markers for early OS screening.

The radiative hyperon decay Lambda -> n gamma is studied using (10087 +/- 44) x 10(6) J/psi. events collected with the BESIII detector operating at BEPCII. The absolute branching fraction of the decay Lambda -> n gamma is determined to be (0.832 +/- 0.038(stat) +/- 0.054(syst)) x 10(-3), which is a factor of 2.1 lower and 5.6 standard deviations different than the previous measurement. By analyzing the joint angular distribution of the decay products, the first determination of the decay asymmetry a. is reported with a value of -0.16 +/- 0.10(stat) +/- 0.05(syst).

A search for invisible decays of the Lambda baryon is carried out in the process J/psi -> Lambda(Lambda) over bar based on (1.0087 +/- 0.0044) x 10(10) J/psi events collected with the BESIII detector located at the BEPCII storage ring. No signals are found for the invisible decays of. baryon, and the upper limit of the branching fraction is determined to be 7.4 x 10(-5) at the 90% confidence level. This is the first search for invisible decays of baryons; such searches will play an important role in constraining dark sector models related to the baryon asymmetry.

We study the processes e(+)e(-) -> (KSDs+D)-D-0*(-) and e(+)e(-) -> (KSDs)-D-0*D-+(-) as well as their charge conjugated processes, at five center-of-mass energies between 4.628 and 4.699 GeV, using data samples corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.8 fb(-1) collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring. Based on a partial reconstruction technique, we find evidence of a structure near the thresholds for Ds+D*- and D-s*(+) D- production in the K-S(0) recoil-mass spectrum, which we refer to as the Z(cs) (3985)(0). Fitting with a Breit-Wigner line shape, we find the mass of the structure to be (3992.2 +/- 1.7 +/- 1.6) MeV/c(2) and the width to be (7.7(-3.8)(+4.1) +/- 4.3) MeV, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. The significance of the Z(cs)(3985)(0) signal is found to be 4.6s including both the statistical and systematic uncertainty. We report the Born cross section multiplied by the branching fraction at different energy points. The mass of the Z(cs) (3985)(0) is close to that of the Z(cs)(3985)(+). Assuming SU(3) symmetry, the cross section of the neutral channel is consistent with that of the charged one. Hence, we conclude that the Z(cs) (3985)(0) is the isospin partner of the Z(cs)(3985)(+).

Using a data sample of (448.1 +/- 2.9) x 10(6) psi(3686) decays collected at an e(+)e(& minus;) center-of-mass energy of 3.686 GeV by the BESIII detector at Beijing Electron Positron Collider II, we report an observation of the hindered electromagnetic Dalitz decay psi(3686) -> e(+)e(& minus;)eta(c) with a significance of 7.9 sigma. The branching fraction is determined to be B(psi(3686) -> e(+)e(& minus;)eta(c)) = (3.77 +/- 0.40(stat) +/- 0.18(syst)) x 10(& minus;5), agreeing well with the prediction of the vector meson dominance model. This is the first measurement of the electromagnetic Dalitz transition between the psi(3686) and the eta(c), which provides new insight into the electromagnetic properties of this decay, and offers new opportunities to measure the absolute branching fractions of eta(c) decays.

The Born cross sections of the processes e(+)e(-) -> omega pi(0) and e(+)e(-) -> omega eta are measured at center-of-mass energies between 3.773 and 4.701 GeV using a total integrated luminosity of 22.7 fb(-1) collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider. A simple s(-n) dependence for the continuum process can describe the measured Born cross sections. No significant contributions from the psi(4160), Y(4230), Y(4360), psi(4415), Y(4660) resonances are found, which indicates relative small branching fractions for these resonances into the omega pi(0) and omega eta final states.

Based on (0087 +/- 44) x 10(6) J/psi events collected with the BESIII detector at BEPCII, the double Dalitz decay eta' -> e(+)e(-)e(+)e(-) is observed for the first time via the J/psi -> gamma eta' decay process. The significance is found to be 5.7s with systematic uncertainties taken into consideration. Its branching fraction is determined to be B(eta' -> e(+)e(-)e(+)e(-)) = (4.5 +/- 1.0(stat) +/- 0.5(sys)) x 10(-6).

摘要:
The decay
$$D \rightarrow K^-\pi ^+$$
is studied in a sample of quantum-correlated
$$D{\bar{D}}$$
pairs, based on a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93fb
$$^{-1}$$
collected at the
$$\psi (3770)$$
resonance by the BESIII experiment. The asymmetry between
$$C\!P$$
-odd and
$$C\!P$$
-even eigenstate decays into
$$K^-\pi ^+$$
is determined to be
$${{\mathcal {A}}}_{K\pi } = 0.132 \pm 0.011 \pm 0.007$$
, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. This measurement is an update of an earlier study exploiting additional tagging modes, including several decay modes involving a
$$K^0_L$$
meson. The branching fractions of the
$$K^0_L$$
modes are determined as input to the analysis in a manner that is independent of any strong phase uncertainty. Using the predominantly
$$C\!P$$
-even tag
$$D\rightarrow \pi ^+\pi ^-\pi ^0$$
and the ensemble of
$$C\!P$$
-odd eigenstate tags, the observable
$${{\mathcal {A}}}_{K\pi }^{\pi \pi \pi ^0}$$
is measured to be
$$0.130 \pm 0.012 \pm 0.008$$
. The two asymmetries are sensitive to
$$r_D^{K\pi }\cos \delta _D^{K\pi }$$
, where
$$r_D^{K\pi }$$
and
$$\delta _D^{K\pi }$$
are the ratio of amplitudes and phase difference, respectively, between the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed and Cabibbo-favoured decays. In addition, events containing
$$D \rightarrow K^-\pi ^+$$
tagged by
$$D \rightarrow K^0_{S,L} \pi ^+\pi ^-$$
are studied in bins of phase space of the three-body decays. This analysis has sensitivity to both
$$r_D^{K\pi }\cos \delta _D^{K\pi }$$
and
$$r_D^{K\pi }\sin \delta _D^{K\pi }$$
. A fit to
$${{\mathcal {A}}}_{K\pi }$$
,
$${{\mathcal {A}}}_{K\pi }^{\pi \pi \pi ^0}$$
and the phase-space distribution of the
$$D \rightarrow K^0_{S,L} \pi ^+\pi ^-$$
tags yields
$$\delta _D^{K\pi }= \left( 187.6 {^{+8.9}_{-9.7}}{^{+5.4}_{-6.4}} \right) ^{\circ }$$
, where external constraints are applied for
$$r_D^{K\pi }$$
and other relevant parameters. This is the most precise measurement of
$$\delta _D^{K\pi }$$
in quantum-correlated
$$D{\bar{D}}$$
decays.

The cross section of the process e(+)e(-) -> omega pi(0)pi(0) is measured at nineteen center-of-mass energies from 2.0 to 3.08 GeV using data collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring. A resonant structure around 2.20 GeV is observed with statistical significance larger than 5 sigma. Using a coherent fit to the cross section line shape, the mass and width are determined to be M = 2222 +/- 7 +/- 2 MeV/c(2) and Gamma = 59 +/- 30 +/- 6 MeV, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second ones are systematic.

BACKGROUND: Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are one type of RNAs with many different functions. circRNAs are very crucial in human malignancy progression. However, few studies have investigated the function and exact mechanism of circRNAs in neuroblastoma. In the current study, we investigated the biological function of circ0125803 in the proliferation and metastasis of neuroblastoma. METHODS: A high-throughput circRNA microarray sequencing was conducted to screen differentially expressed circRNAs and in neuroblastoma. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was used to detect the expression level of circRNA and miRNA. RNA immunoprecipitation and dual luciferase reporter experiments were both conducted to investigate the molecular interaction mechanism of circ0125803 in neuroblastoma. RESULTS: We identified hsa_circ_0125803 (circ0125803) as an extremely upregulated circRNA in neuroblastoma samples. Knockdown of circ0125803 significantly decreased the growth rate and invasion rate in neuroblastoma. Our data demonstrated upregulation of circ0125803 promotes the neuroblastoma progression by blocking miR-197-5p and upregulating E2F1 expression. CONCLUSION: This study uncovered the biological function of the circ0125803-miR-197-5p-E2F1 axis in neuroblastoma metastasis and growth.

We report a branching fraction measurement of the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decay. thornc..Kthorn using a data sample collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring. The data span center-of-mass energies from 4.599 to 4.950 GeVand correspond to an integrated luminosity of 6.44 fb-1. The branching fraction of. thornc..Kthorn relative to that of the Cabibbo-favored decay. thornc..pthorn is measured to be R 1/4 Bo. thornc..KthornTHORN Bo. thornc..p thornTHORN 1/4 o4.78 similar to 0.34 similar to 0.20THORN%. Combining with the world-average value of Bo. thornc..pthornTHORN, we obtain Bo. thornc..KthornTHORN 1/4 o6.21 similar to 0.44 similar to 0.26 similar to 0.34THORN x 10-4. Here the first uncertainties are statistical, the second systematic, and the third comes from the uncertainty of the. thornc..p thorn branching fraction. This result, which is more precise than previous measurements, does not agree with theoretical predictions, and suggests that nonfactorizable contributions have been underestimated in current models.

Utilizing the data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.19 fb(-1) collected by the BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of 4.178 GeV, we perform an amplitude analysis of the D-s(+) -> pi(+) pi(-) pi(+) decay. The sample contains 13,797 candidates with a signal purity of similar to 80%. The amplitude and phase of the contributing pi pi S wave are measured based on a quasi-model-independent approach, along with the amplitudes and phases of the P and D waves parametrized by Breit-Wigner models. The fit fractions of different intermediate decay channels are also reported.

Natural Product Communications, Volume 17, Issue 12, December 2022. <br/>Hyperlipidemia has been demonstrated to evoke Alzheimer disease (AD) pathologies such as Amyloid-β (Aβ) deposition and synaptogenesis dysfunction in the hippocampus. Curcumin gives protection against anti-amyloid properties and synaptogenesis dysfunction. Curcumin-Nicotinate (CurTn), a new type of curcumin derivative, ameliorates cognitive impairment by rescuing autophagic flux in the CA1 hippocampus of diabetic rats. However, whether Curtn possesses an antagonistic effect on AD-related pathologies in the hippocampus induced by hyperlipidemia remains ill-defined. The present study aims to investigate whether CurTn alleviates synaptogenesis dysfunction by promoting the activation of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF)/tyrosine kinase receptor B (TrkB)/cAMP-response element binding protein (CREB) signaling and whether the underlying fundamental mechanism involves the elimination of Aβ deposition due to Idol/low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) signaling in the hippocampus of high-fat diet (HFD)-induced hyperlipidemia rats. The results demonstrated that CurTn not only improved synaptogenesis dysfunction in the hippocampus of HFD rats, as evidenced by the increases in the expressions of synapse-related proteins postsynaptic density protein 95 (PSD-95), synapsin-1, and Glutamate receptor 1 (GluR1), but also activated BDNF/TrkB/CREB signaling, as evidenced by the elevation of the expressions of BDNF, pTrkB, and CREB. Moreover, CurTn modulated the Idol/LDLR pathway in the hippocampus of HFD rats, as evidenced by the decreased expression of Idol and the increased expression of LDLR. Furthermore, CurTn eliminated the deposition of Aβ, as evidenced by the reduction in the content of Aβ40 and Aβ42. These results reveal that CurTn may attenuate synaptogenesis dysfunction by activating BDNF/TrkB/CREB signaling, as the possible result of the modulation of Idol/LDLR signaling to eliminate Aβ deposition in the hippocampus of HFD rats.

Using a data sample of psi(3770) events collected with the BESIII detector at BEPCII corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.9 fb-1, we report a measurement of A spin polarization in e+ e- -> Lambda(Lambda) over bar at = root s = 3.773 GeV. The significance of polarization is found to be 2 sigma including the systematic uncertainty, which implies a zero phase between the transition amplitudes of the Lambda(Lambda) over bar helicity states. This phase can be interpreted in terms of psionic form factors, and is determined to be Delta Phi(Psi) = Phi(Psi)(E) - Phi(Psi)(M) = (71(-46)(+66) +/- 5)degrees. Similarly, the ratio between the form factors is found to be R-psi = vertical bar G(E)(Psi)/G(M)(Psi)vertical bar = 0.48(-0.35)(+0.21) +/- 0.03. The first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic.

Using (448.1 +/- 2.9) x 10(6) psi (3686) events collected with the BESIII detector and a single-baryon tagging technique, we present the first observation of the decays psi(3686)-> Xi (1530)(0) (Xi) over bar (1530)(0) and Xi (1530)(0) (Xi) over bar (0). The branching fractions are measured to be B psi (3686)-> Xi (1530)(0) (Xi) over bar (1530)(0)) = (6.77 +/- 0.14 +/- 0.39 x 10(- 5) and B (psi(3686)-> Xi (1530)(0) (Xi) over bar (0) = (0.53 +/- 0.04 +/- 0.03) x 10(-5). Here, the first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. In addition, the parameter associated with the angular distribution for the decay psi (3686) ->Xi (1530)(0) (Xi) over bar (1530)(0) is determined to be alpha= 1/4 0.32 +/- 0.19 +/- 0.07, in agreement with theoretical predictions within one standard deviation.
