Theory and practice of enterprise carbon asset management from the perspective of low-carbon transformation

Effective carbon asset management is necessary for decreasing carbon resource inputs and reducing carbon emission. Furthermore, carbon asset management is an important measure to realize low-carbon transformation and low-carbon competitiveness for enterprises. However, a systematic theoretical framework and an effective management method for carbon asset management are lacking. Therefore, the paper defines carbon assets as tangible and intangible assets that can help reduce carbon emission and create low-carbon value based on the essence of carbon resources. In order to demonstrate a carbon asset's positive role in reducing carbon emission, the paper constructs carbon asset management indicators including carbon fund turnover ratio, carbon emission rate, carbon turnover ratio, carbon technology transformation efficiency and fixed carbon asset profitability. The carbon asset management practice of Bao Steel Corporation shows that the indicator system can accurately reflect the efficiency and effect of carbon asset management. That is, carbon fund turnover ratio can reflect a carbon fund's utilization efficiency; carbon emission rate reflects the carbon materials’ different effects on carbon emission; carbon turnover ratio reflects the profit of carbon trading; fixed carbon asset profitability reflects the low-carbon earning power to some degree; and carbon technology transformation efficiency reflects the maturity of low-carbon technology. However, with carbon asset management in the forefront of the carbon accounting field, some issues, including the nature of the carbon asset, management pattern and comparative analysis of more cases, need to be explored in future research to deepen the understanding of the essence of carbon asset management. © 2018 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

Confronting the dilemma of resource shortage and environmental pollution, the idea of circular economy (CE) has attracted widespread attentions. To address these problems, several industrial companies have incorporated the CE in their operation or design. In this sense, the phosphorus chemical firms (PCFs) are promoting CE to achieve sustainable development goals since phosphorus is a non-renewable resource and one of the nutrient elements essential for crop growth. Thus, this paper aims to find a suitable way to assess the performance of CE for PCFs. Firstly, the evaluation index system of CE is designed according to the characteristics of CE for PCFs. Then, a new framework based on the qualitative flexible (QUALIFLEX) and Vlsekriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) methods is established to pick out the best enterprise. The linguistic neutrosophic number (LNN) is advised to describe decision making information with linguistic true, hesitant and false membership degree. Moreover, an entropy-based approach is used to determine the index weights, and the VIKOR method is presented to determine the concordance index. After that, all possible permutations are itemized, and the ranking result is obtained according to the general concordance index values of each permutation: Finally, an example of assessing the performance of CE for PCFs in China is given to illustrate the proposed method, and its feasibility is demonstrated. The robustness and advantage of this approach are also indicated with sensitivity and comparison analysis. The results show that the proposed VIKOR-QUALIFLEX method is reliable and stable for assessing the performance of CE for PCFs, and provides references for the construction and management of CE for PCFs. Nowadays, traditional human–machine interface has been converted into digital human–computer interface in most industrial control rooms, then, cognitive process and reliability are also bound to be different from traditional human–machine interface. Aiming at the situation, the authors in this paper propose a cognitive reliability model with influencing factors based on Bayesian network. Taking a nuclear power plant (Npp) as research background, taking simulative experiment as study way, parameter values in cognitive reliability mathematical model are obtained by analyzing much experimental data. The proposed model is reasonable, accurate, sensitive and convergent by analyzing experiment data. Cognitive error probabilities of some tasks regarding a hot transmission system (HTS) leak accident in a Npp are obtained according to the proposed model and simulative experiments. The model provides a simple and feasible approach to analyze cognitive reliability of operating process in digital human–computer interface. © 2017 Elsevier Ltd

摘要:
The sustainability challenge is increasingly driving the adoption of supercritical water gasification (SCWG) technology to ensure the elimination and recovery of pollution produced by sewage sludge treatment (SST). Risk evaluation by failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) plays a crucial role in guaranteeing the reliability and safety of SCWG systems. However, some limitations in existing FMEA methods need to be ameliorated. Multiple risk factors are involved in prioritizing risk levels for failure modes in SCWG systems, it is essential a multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) process, in which overall assessments of failure modes should be provided according to their performances from several points during a system operation period. Due to differences in knowledge backgrounds and experiences, FMEA team members prefer to utilize multi-granular linguistic term sets to express their assessments of system risk. A hybrid risk evaluation model by FMEA is exploited with multi-granular linguistic distribution assessments to suit practical case. Best-worst and maximizing derivation methods are adopted to determine subjective and objective combined weights for distinguishing the importance of risk factors. Complex proportional assessment method is used to prioritize failure modes for explicitly and effectively reflecting the risk level of each failure mode. The proposed model is applied in a practical case of an SCWG system used in SST. Results derived from comparative and sensitivity analyses fully demonstrate the reliability and validity of the model.

The development of nuclear power is a major measure for implementing energy-saving and emission reduction strategies all over the world. For a long time, the hazards of nuclear accidents have been obstacles to the development of nuclear power. Temporary evacuation is the fastest and most effective emergency measure to ensure the safety of residents in a short period of time after a nuclear accident. Numerous nuclear accident emergency management personnel make judgments based on personal work experience and subjective awareness when formulating a nuclear accident emergency evacuation plan. How to make a scientific and reasonable decision on the emergency evacuation of nuclear accidents in the shortest time is a common problem faced by many emergency departments when a nuclear accident occurs. In a complex and ever-changing radiation environment, how to maximize the use of limited information and make decisions quickly in an uncertain environment is a core issue that effectively reduces the risk of nuclear accidents. This paper constructs a set of assessment system of nuclear accident emergency evacuation plan selection based on the characteristics of nuclear accident emergencies under uncertain environmental conditions. It uses triangular fuzzy language to describe nuclear accident emergency evacuation decision plans and the weighting of relevant factors. Additionally, the K-means clustering method is used to calculate the weight of experts, which reduces the influence of subjective factors considered by decision makers. Finally, a decision model for emergency evacuation of nuclear accidents is constructed based on the TOPSIS decision model. © 2018 by the authors.

Hypertension is considered as an important public health problem in developed and developing countries. The disease is closely associated with health-promoting lifestyle (HPL), and it seems that HPL plays an important role in improving health-related quality of life (HRQOL). This cross-sectional study is to investigate the effects of health-promoting lifestyle (HPL) on health-related quality of life in elderly people with hypertension from a community health service center in Hengyang, Hunan, PR China. Totally 530 elderly patients with hypertension from the community health service center were included in this study, who were asked to fill in a questionnaire (504 patients responded). HPL was assessed by the health-promoting lifestyle profile II (HPLP-II), and HRQOL was measured by the Short Form Health Survey Questionnaire (SF-36). HPL among these elderly people with hypertension was at moderate level (125.02±21), with the highest score for nutrition and the lowest score for health responsibility. Moreover, HRQOL among these elderly hypertensive people was at moderate level (54.36±21.18). Role-emotional domain score was far below average, vitality domain was a little below average, social functioning and general health domains were a little above average, and other domains were far above average. Furthermore, HPL and HRQOL were positively correlated (P<.01). According to the standardized regression coefficients, the influencing factors for HRQOL included (in a descending order) the health responsibility, physical activity, interpersonal relationships, stress management, spiritual growth, and nutrition. HPL and HRQOL were both relatively poor in the elderly people with hypertension from the community health service center. HPL represents an important factor affecting HRQOL of elderly people with hypertension. HRQOL could be improved through promoting HPL (such as health responsibility and physical activity). BACKGROUND: Adherence to follow-up is vital for the medical surveillance of the postoperative blood concentration, but relatively little research has examined it, and there is less study on relationships between adherence to follow-up and quality of life (QoL). We investigated the status of adherence to follow-up and QoL and associated factors among kidney transplantation recipients in China. METHODS: A cross-sectional study with the use of a Kidney Transplantation Recipient's Adherence to Follow-Up Questionnaire and a Quality of Life of Kidney Transplantation Recipients Questionnaire was conducted among 250 kidney transplantation recipients in Changsha, China, from January to March in 2015. RESULTS: The mean score for adherence to follow-up was 54.71 +/- 6.46. Time after transplantation was the only factor affecting adherence to follow-up scores (beta = -0.210; P < .05). The mean total score for QoL was 140.39 +/- 13.56; physical functioning, 23.72 +/- 3.33; psychologic functioning, 24.46 +/- 4.23; social functioning, 44.43 +/- 6.80; treatment, 24.81 +/- 2.97; and subjective satisfaction, 21.28 +/- 3.15. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that adherence to follow-up, economic level, job status, donor source, and original disease affected with QoL. CONCLUSIONS: Adherence to follow-up decreases with time after transplantation, and better compliance is associated with better QoL in all areas. Improvements in adherence to follow-up, income and reimbursement, psychologic guidance, and social support may increase QoL of kidney transplantat recipients.

Situation awareness (SA) is a key element that impacts operator's decision-making and performance in nuclear power plants (NPPs). The subsequent complex cognitive activities cannot be correctly completed due to errors of situation awareness (ESA), which will lead to disastrous consequences. In order to investigate and analyze operator's ESA in the digitized main control room (DMCR) of a nuclear power plant, the model of ESA is established, the classification system of ESA is developed based on the built ESA model, and the analysis method of ESA is also constructed on the basis of the observation of simulator and operator surveys. Finally, a case study is provided to illustrate the concrete application of the method. It provides a theoretical and practical support for the operator's SAE analysis in a digitized main control room of a nuclear power plant. © 2016 Elsevier Ltd

Aims and objectives: To assess the effect of percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy on short- and long-term survival of patients in a persistent vegetative state after stroke and determine the relevant prognostic factors. Background: Stroke may lead to a persistent vegetative state, and the effect of percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy on survival of stroke patients in a persistent vegetative state remains unclear. Design: Prospective study. Methods: A total of 97 stroke patients in a persistent vegetative state hospitalised from January 2009 to December 2011 at the Second Hospital, University of South China, were assessed in this study. Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy was performed in 55 patients, and mean follow-up time was 18 months. Survival rate and risk factors were analysed. Results: Median survival in the 55 percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy-treated patients was 17·6 months, higher compared with 8·2 months obtained for the remaining 42 patients without percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy treatment. Univariate analyses revealed that age, hospitalisation time, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy treatment status, family financial situation, family care, pulmonary infection and nutrition were significantly associated with survival. Multivariate analysis indicated that older age, no gastrostomy, poor family care, pulmonary infection and poor nutritional status were independent risk factors affecting survival. Indeed, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy significantly improved the nutritional status and decreased pulmonary infection rate in patients with persistent vegetative state after stroke. Interestingly, median survival time was 20·3 months in patients with no or one independent risk factors of poor prognosis (n = 38), longer compared with 8·7 months found for patients with two or more independent risk factors (n = 59). Conclusion: Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy significantly improves long-term survival of stroke patients in a persistent vegetative state and is associated with improved nutritional status and decreased pulmonary infection. Relevance to clinical practice: Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy is a promising option for the management of stroke patients in a persistent vegetative state. © 2016 John Wiley & Sons Ltd

Objective: This study was designed to examine the internal consistency, test-retest reliability, construct, and concurrent validity of the Trust in Nurses Scale (TNS) in hospitalized patients with cancer in China. Methods: Between October and December 2016, the Chinese version of TNS and Nurse-Patient Trust Scale were applied to assess 190 patients with cancer in a general hospital. A subsample of 70 patients completed the TNS again 1 week later. Results: The Chinese version of the TNS had good internal consistency (alpha=0.817), fair test-retest reliability (r=0.866), and confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated good fit for a four-item version of the TNS. Conclusion: The Chinese TNS exhibited sufficient validity and reliability in hospitalized patients with cancer.

Purpose Early detection and management of coronary heart disease (CHD) are embedded into many community health service and primary care practices in western countries. The Framingham CHD risk score has been used to predict CHD and mortality for nearly 20 years, and it has predicted CHD event risk accurately in multiethnic populations. The aim of this study was to access the effect of a 6-month community-based intervention on CHD risk in individuals at high risk. Methods A randomized controlled trial of individuals with a high 10-year CHD risk were recruited from two communities in China. Individuals in the intervention group (n = 53) received a 3-month group education and a 3-month coaching session. Physical examination and self-report questionnaires were used to collect both pre- and postintervention data on blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, body mass index, smoking, depression, and health-related quality of life (HRQoL). Results A total of 102 participants (85.0%) completed the 6-month study. Compared with the usual care group, the intervention group had a 5 mmHg greater reduction in systolic blood pressure (t = 2.01, p =.047), larger declines in glucose (t = −2.49, p =.015), cholesterol (t = −2.44, p =.017), body mass index (t = −2.58, p =.011), and depression (t = −2.05, p =.043), and better reports of HRQoL (t = 3.36, p =.001). No significant group differences in smoking behaviors were reported. Conclusion A 6-month community-based intervention in a CHD high-risk population improved disease-related risk factors, depression, and HRQoL. Results provide preliminary evidence for primary prevention of cardiovascular disease risk in a community high-risk population. © 2017

摘要:
This study evaluated a group-based therapeutic programme to obese women who need to improve eating attitude and enhancing self-esteem. The therapeutic programme was conducted in a university-affiliated therapeutic diet centre in China. The sample of 30 women with overweight (BMI 25-35) was randomly assigned between BGBT group (n =20) and control group (n =18). We used an experimental 2 (experimental-control) × 2 (pretest-posttest) design, with follow-up. Measures involved: Initial Interview; Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale; Eating Attitude Test-26; and Emotion and Feelings State Questionnaire. In the intervention group, we observed an increase in overall self-esteem, personal value, slimming, oral inhibition and perceived control of emotions and feelings and a decrease in overeating. Therefore, we observed data significant improvement in positive interaction from the intervention group obese women at after the programme, compared with the control group. The results also show that a group-based therapeutic programme can protect women with overweight from an increase in perceived feedback and behaviors of sickly eating. © 2018, Anka Publishers. Considering the fact that transboundary pollution control calls for the cooperation between interested parties, this paper studies a cooperative stochastic differential game of transboundary industrial pollution between two asymmetric nations in infinite-horizon level. In this paper, we model two ways of transboundary pollution: one is an accumulative global pollutant with an uncertain evolutionary dynamic and the other is a regional nonaccumulative pollutant. In our model, firms and governments are separated entities and they play a Stackelberg game, while the governments of the two nations can cooperate in pollution reduction. We discuss the feedback Nash equilibrium strategies of governments and industrial firms, and it is found that the governments being cooperative in transboundary pollution control will set a higher pollution tax rate and make more pollution abatement effort than when they are noncooperative. 摘要:
This is the second in a series of papers describing the optimal design method for a digital human-computer interface of nuclear power plant (Npp) from three different points based on human reliability. The purpose of this series is to explore different optimization methods from varying perspectives. This present paper mainly discusses the optimal design method for quantity of components of the same factor. In monitoring process, quantity of components has brought heavy burden to operators, thus, human errors are easily triggered. To solve the problem, the authors propose an optimization process, a quick convergence search method and an affinity error probability mapping function. Two balanceable parameter values of the affinity error probability function are obtained by experiments. The experimental results show that the affinity error probability mapping function about human-computer interface has very good sensitivity and stability, and that quick convergence search method for fuzzy segments divided by component quantity has better performance than general algorithm. © 2017 Elsevier Ltd

In a digital control system, the dependency model between the actions of operators differs from that in a conventional control room because information sharing and the main control room (MCR) operations are team operations. Dependencies between the actions of operators are more common in a digital control system compared with a conventional control room because operators share the same information and MCR operations are directed by team decisions. Therefore, assessing the dependencies between operators is an important aspect of human reliability analysis. In this study, we use a fuzzy logic-based approach to evaluate the dependencies among the actions of operators in the present study. First, the factors that influence the dependency levels among the actions of operators are identified by analyzing the characteristic human factors in a digital control system and an analytical model of the dependencies is then constructed. Second, a method for analyzing the dependencies between the actions of operators is established based on a fuzzy logic approach. This method can simulate vague and uncertain knowledge, but it also provides a clear explanation of the origins of results and their reasoning process by tracing the steps in reasoning. Therefore, traceability and repeatability are characteristics of the proposed method. Third, we present a case study to demonstrate the proposed approach. Finally, we demonstrate that the results obtained are reasonable and that the established model is stable based on validations that involve data comparisons and a sensitivity analysis of the model. © 2015 Elsevier B.V. Purpose: This study aimed to examine the psychometric properties and performance of a Chinese version of the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) among a sample of Chinese women with cervical cancer. Methods: A cross-sectional survey design was used. The respondents included 215 women with cervical cancer in an oncology hospital in China. A translated Chinese version of the FSFI was used to investigate their sexual functioning. Psychometric testing included internal consistency reliability (Cronbach's alpha coefficient and item-total correlations), test-retest reliability, construct validity (principal component analysis via oblique rotation and confirmatory factor analysis), and variability (floor and ceiling effects). Results: The mean score of the total scale was 20.65 ± 4.77. The Cronbach values were .94 for the total scale, .72-.90 for the domains. Test-retest correlation coefficients over 2-4 weeks were .84 (p < .05) for the total scale, .68-.83 for the subscales. Item-total correlation coefficients ranged between .47 and .83 (p < .05). A five-factor model was identified via principal component analysis and established by confirmatory factor analysis, including desire/arousal, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction, and pain. There was no evidence of floor or ceiling effects. Conclusions: With good psychometric properties similar to its original English version, this Chinese version of the FSFI is demonstrated to be a reliable and valid instrument that can be used to assess sexual functioning of women with cervical cancer in China. Future research is still needed to confirm its psychometric properties and performance among a large sample. © 2015 Elsevier Ltd.

In a closed-loop supply chain consisting of a manufacturer and a retailer, this paper studies the pricing strategies and coordination mechanism of supply chain when the remanufacturing cost is random caused by the proportion of reusability parts in design stage and quality condition of recycling product. The results show that the wholesale price and retail price are negative correlation, while the recycling rate and total profit of supply chain system are positive correlation with the proportion of reusability component designed in new product and quality of recycling product. Moreover, there are conclusions that the wholesale price and retail price are lower while the recycling rate and total profit of supply chain system are higher with centralized decision. Then, in order to coordinate the closed-loop supply chain, this paper develops a revenue-sharing contract, in which the revenue share parameter is determined based on absolute deviation approach. This is the first in a series of papers describing the optimal design method for a digital human-computer interface of a nuclear power plant (NPP) from three different points based on human reliability. The purpose of this series is to propose different optimization methods from varying perspectives to decrease human factor events that arise from the defects of a human computer interface. The present paper mainly discusses the optimization method for the layout of monitoring units. The layout of relative positions among different functional blocks in a digital human computer interface influences the time required to search information. The risk of an event increases with increases in the time required to search for information because of the limited time available during a nuclear emergency. To avoid the risk of such an event, the authors propose an optimization method for the layout of monitoring units based on human reliability for a digital human computer interface of a NPP. In the optimal design process, the authors propose a linear reversal genetic hybridization method that uses the Bayesian method as an adaptive function and takes human reliability as the optimized criterion. To quantitatively obtain the probability of human reliability, the authors use dynamic simulative functions including time and human factors. Finally, an experiment is conducted. The results indicate that the linear reversal genetic hybridization method has good stability and sensitivity and that the proposed optimization method has good accuracy and convergence. Aims: We investigated the axonal morphological changes and expression of both tau protein and β-APP following concussion to the medulla oblongata, in a rat model of chronic alcoholism. Methods: Fifty-nine male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into EtOH, EtOH-TBI and control groups (water group, water-TBI group). To establish chronic alcoholic rats, rats were intragastrically given edible spirituous liquor twice daily. Rats also received a blow on the occipital tuberosity with an iron pendulum. Morphological changes and expression of tau and β-APP proteins in the medulla oblongata were examined. Results: (a) Nerve fibre thickening and twisting were observed in alcoholic rats, with nerve fibre changes becoming more significant following a concussion blow, which leads to some nerve fibres fracturing. (b) Transmission electron microscopy revealed that the nerve fibre myelin became loosened and displayed lamellar separation, which became more significant following concussion. (c) The integral optical density (IOD) sum value of β-APP of the EtOH-TBI group was lower than that in the EtOH group (P < 0.05); the Tau IOD sum value of the EtOH-TBI group was higher than that in the EtOH group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: (a) Chronic alcoholism caused nerve fibre and neuronal morphology damage in the rat medulla oblongata, with structural damage becoming more significant following concussion. (b) Concussion changed the expression of β-APP and tau protein in chronic alcoholic rat medulla oblongata, suggesting that chronic alcoholism can lead to severe axonal injury following a concussion blow.
