Abstract: In this paper, a random single population model disturbed by decaying noise is considered. Under certain conditions, according to the stability theory of stochastic difference equations, the existence and asymptotic stability of the 2-cycle solution of the model are discussed. 摘要:
In this study, we systematically investigate the proton radioactivity half-lives of 33 spherical nuclei based on the relationship between Skyrme parameters and the macroscopic quantities of nuclear matter. Using the two-potential approach with the spherical Skyrme-Hartree-Fock model, the correlation between proton radioactivity half-life and the macroscopic quantities is analyzed. Moreover, we obtain a new Skyrme parameter set by fitting the two most weighted macroscopic quantities. Compared with the Skyrme parameters MSL0 and the theoretical model of proton radioactivity UDLP, the theoretical proton radioactivity half-life calculated using the new Skyrme parameter set can better reproduce the experimental data.

Recently, a ternary-layered material BiOCl has elicited intense interest in photocatalysis, environmental remediation, and ultraviolet light detection because of its unique band gap of around 3.6 eV, low toxicity, and earth abundance. In particular, Gibson et al. reported a measurement of the in-plane thermal conductivity of BiOCl experimentally using a four-point-probe method [Science, 373, 1017-1022 (2021)], which is only 1.25 W/m K at 300 K. Motivated by the work, we studied the thermoelectric property of monolayer BiOCl using first-principles calculations combined with the Boltzmann transport equation. The calculated phonon thermal conductivity of monolayer BiOCl is 3 W/m K at 300 K, which is far below that of other promising 2D thermoelectric materials like graphyne and MoS(2). A comprehensive analysis of phonon modes is conducted to reveal the low thermal conductivity. Moreover, the maximal ZT value is as high as 1.8 at 300 K and 5.7 at 800 K for the p-type doping with the 2 × 10(15) cm(-2) concentration. More importantly, we found that the thermoelectric efficiency of such 2D materials is significantly enhanced to 8 at 800 K by applying 1.5% tensile strain, which clearly outperforms that of the reported 2D thermoelectric material SnSe. The results shed light on the promising application in medium-temperature (600-900 K) thermoelectric devices.

Trafficability criterion of a tracked miner is investigated when walking across deep-sea floor with obstacles by analyzing the mechanical property of deep-sea sediment and geometrical conditions of obstacles. Trafficability criterion can help predict and estimate the mining efficiency and working safety of the tracked miner on the deep-sea sediment. Deep-sea sediment has an obvious rheological property and its compression-sinkage-time relationship was adopted to describe the sinkage shape of track under different grounding pressure distributions. The area of the sinkage shape was classified and redefined according to the relationships with different traction forces based on work-energy theorem concept. A new trafficability criterion is then established based on the areas of sinkage shapes and the physical meaning of parameters in the criterion was explained diagrammatically in detail. As an application, a trafficable deep-sea ditch width and slope angle were calculated theoretically by combining the trafficability criterion and sinkage shapes analyses. The trafficability criterion is proved to be convenient and intuitive for quickly judging the trafficability problem of deep-sea tracked miner for common obstacles.

摘要:
The focus of this paper is on the local stability of the traveling waves of reaction–diffusion systems that describe host-tissue degradation by bacteria. On the one hand, we discuss the asymptotic behavior of the solutions near the equilibrium points. On the other hand, the local stability of traveling waves is proved by the spectrum method based on the appropriate weighted functional space.

To study the law of uranium tailings impoundment cover fissures and radon exhalation under the continuous heat and insolation conditions, the soil and uranium tailings samples from South China are made into the uranium tailings impoundment scale mode. The model was placed in a climate chamber for continuous heat and insolation environments. The fissures rate, radon exhalation rate and electrical conductivity of the model soil layer were calculated and analyzed. The results show that: (1) the radon exhalation rate and fissure ratio have the same variation pattern (2) the electrical conductivity characterization correlates with fracture rate and precedes fracture rate, which may predict the fissure growth. (3) When the experimental time exceeded 21 h, the electrical conductivity and the radon exhalation rate change showed a strong inverse correlation.

摘要:
Considering the preformation probability of the two emitted protons in the parent nucleus, we extend the Coulomb and proximity potential model (CPPM) to systematically study two-proton (2p) radioactivity half-lives of the nuclei close to proton drip line. The proximity potential chosen is Prox. 81 proposed by Blocki et al. in 1981. Furthermore, we apply this model to predict the half-lives of possible 2p radioactive candidates whose 2p radioactivity is energetically allowed or observed but not yet quantified in the evaluated nuclear properties table NUBASE2016. The predicted results are in good agreement with those from other theoretical models and empirical formulas, namely the effective liquid drop model (ELDM), generalized liquid drop model (GLDM), Gamow-like model, Sreeja formula and Liu formula.
