Cervical cancer is a prominent cause of cancer-related mortality among women, with recent attention directed toward exploring the involvement of circular RNAs (circRNAs) in this particular cancer. CircRNAs, characterized by a covalently closed loop structure, belong to a class of single-stranded non-coding RNA (ncRNA) molecules that play crucial roles in cancer development and progression through diverse mechanisms.
