In electrified railway, a new-style balance transformer with three-phase three windings is presented to eliminate zero-sequence and negative-sequence currents of traction transformer. The connection scheme for the new-style multi-winding balancing transformer is proposed, the mathematical models of the new-style multi-winding balancing transformers are established by the systematic analysis method based on the magnetomotive force balance equations, winding connection equations, output-port equations and voltage transfer equations.
