A sufficient condition is obtained to guarantee the global asymptotic stability of the following nonlinear recursive difference equation: x n+1 = xnxn-1b + xn-2 b +a/xn-1b + xnxn-2 b +a, n = 0, 1, 2,..., where a, b ∈[0, ∞) and the initial values x-2, x-1, x0 ∈ (0, ∞ ).
