A novel light-catalytic resonance fluorescence method was proposed for the de- termination of trace Uranium (Ⅵ) based on the fact that Uranium can catalyze hydrogen peroxide oxidizing Eosin Y(EY) in phosphoric acid medium, resulting in decreasing of the resonance fluorescence intensity of EY. It was found that the maximum resonance fluores- cence wavelength of EY was 530 nm. There is a good linear relationship between the re- duced intensity value of resonance fluorescence and Uranium ( Ⅵ ) concentration in the concentration range of 0....
