党的十七届六中全会提出了加强社会主义文化建设，促进文化大发展大繁荣的决议，对实现中华民族的伟大复兴具有重大的现实意义和深远的历史意义。社会主义强国建设，离不开社会主义法治文化的培育，更离不开高校法治文化的传承、传播和创新。高校法治文化建设的特点具有建设主体的层级性、内容的针对性和继承性。探讨高校法治文化建设，是高校职责之所在，使命之所系。
