作为人类社会的文化瑰宝与和谐社会的重要基石，诚信不仅是中华民族的传统美德，也是马克思主义重要的伦理内容。在对西方传统诚信思想成功实现扬弃的基础上，马克思、恩格斯创立了属于无产阶级、属于共产主义社会的诚信思想，其主要内容包括：政治诚信思想、经济诚信思想和学术诚信思想等，这些宝贵思想对于我们今天加强社会诚信建设、促进社会和谐具有十分重要的指导意义。
