湖南省目前小农生产方式的现状是:农业生产经营处于小规模经营阶段,传统的粗放型生产模式没有改变;农业生产工具落后,农业科技水平低;农业基础设施、农业水利设施、农村道路交通及农村生活设施相当落后;农村社会化、农业组织化程度低,政府对农业的物质和财政支持力度小.导致目前小农生产方式存在的原因主要有:社会历史及体制上的、政策法规上的、市场经济在农村发育不健全方面的、政府经济手段有很大偏差以及农民心态方面等原因.
