文章从会话幽默中交际者出发,讨论了三种导致幽默产生的原因即曲解、误导、误解,这为研究幽默的产生提供了一个新的视角.并在有关幽默机制的理论基础上,通过实例分析,讨论了该如何利用关联理论理解会话幽默.这种探讨有助于我们更好地理解和掌握英语语言,提高我们欣赏和运用英语的能力.

This paper, from the point of the speaker itself, discusses three reasons of generating humor in conversation, such as distorting, misleading and misunderstanding. It provides a new angle for the research of generating humor.
