Objective To screen the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effective fractions from the extraction of ligarine,chloroform,acetoacetate,methanol and water in stem of Sesamum indicum.Methods The anti-inflammatory effect was observed by the mouse auris-swell model and the cotton ball granulating proliferation test.The analgesic effect was tested by hot plate experiment.Results The extraction of chloroform and ligarine had significant anti-inflammatory effects,but the analgesic effect was not much evident.
