理想主义是当代文学最重要的精神价值.十七年文学中的革命理想主义精神与追求理想的社会制度相关,它是真实的,但又难免带上乌托邦色彩;文革中的理想主义被扭曲、异化之后堕入现代宗教迷信之中,其狂热与虚幻是其特征;新时期文学在对前两个时期文学中的理想主义精神的扬弃与超越和短暂的迷失之后,其理想主义精神体现为对个体生命关注与对社会理想关注相统一的丰富内涵,而最终体现为对人生终极关怀的人文理想.

Idealism is the most important spiritual value of contemporary Chinese literature.In the 17-year literature, the revolutionary idealist spirit related with seeking ideal was true and at the same time had some Utopia appeal unavoidably. The idealism in the Culture Revolution was distorted and alienated and then became blind faith with characteristics of fanaticism and illusion.
