清代的爵位封赠作为一代制度始创于天命年间,由于清初爵位封授、晋升与清代开基立业相攸关,因而在清初较长时间内存在着武职、封爵混一局面.爵位的阶升制与武官的晋升法则颇有不谋而合之处.封爵的袭次变化暗示出爵主的身份地位和军功的大小.
