Chromosome analyses of 100 couples with two or more spontaneous abortions were made with culturing lymphocyles and G-bandig stain 6 cases revealed chromose abortion (3%), of them 5 were balanced translocation (2.5%) and 1 was 8 q~- (0.5%). 3 types have never been reported. Their karyotypes were 46, XX, (6; 8) (q25; q22), 46, XX (5; 8) (p15; p21), and 46, XX, t (12; 13) (q24; q22). In accordanse with the pedigree analyses, t (13; 14) and t (5; 8) were transmitted from their parents and t (6; 8) arose denovo t (12; 13) and 8q~- were uncertain in origin.
