In order to improve the quality of football development, the author researched on the relationship between sports media and the healthy development of football industry. The paper set Spain football club Real Madrid as a case to illustrate the relationship and impact between the football news report and the development of football industry. This paper presented the opinionated columns of the major sport outlets in Spain, the coverage of these incidents in a chronological manner, that is, from the first season onwards and the conclusions based on the findings was given after data analysis. Finally, the paper gained the knowledge of the close relation between the club, the head coach and the press, and the influence the media had in the outcome;ever mentioning of course the fandom as well.
