A layered structure model is proposed for microwave dielectric properties of nonhomogeneous hydrogen plasma in carbon nanotubes (CNTs) film. Using the transfer matrix method for solving electromagnetic wave propagation equation, the microwave attenuation of the film is calculated in the range of 0–30 GHz under different conditions. It is found theoretically that with the increase of hydrogen plasma nonhomogeneity, the frequency bandwidth of strong microwave absorption by the film increases markedly.
