There is a need for more convenient and effective methods for detecting and discriminating between α-and β-radiation. In this work, two plastic scintillator detectors were used to detect and discriminate between α-and β-radiation based on digital pulse shape discrimination (PSD). The charge comparison method (CCM) performed better than the time comparison method (TCM), and Detector A (with ZnS doping) showed better results than those of Detector B (without ZnS doping).
