A new DN100 hydrometallurgy ion-exchange model was tested at hydrodynamic parameters of 600 1/h, 700 1/h, and 800 1/h. We then analyzed the flux with the highest resin transfer efficiency. At the same time, we simulated the hydromechanics via FLUENT software to achieve a resin distribution nephogram at different times. This nephogram analyzed the resin transfer to characterize the model's juncture between the tower body and the connecting pipe. This paper offers an important design reference for hydrometallurgy ion-exchange model. ...
