Background Aortic dissection(AD) is a lethal medical emergency, which lacks specific biomarkers and effective pharmaceutical therapies. Increasing evidences have shown beneficial effect of angiotensin receptor blocker(ARB) drugs on downregulating transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β) pathway in Marfanoid AD.
