Relationship Among Urbanization, Urban- Rural Income Gap and Economic Growth in Hunan Province——An Empirical Research Based on Urban Panel Date in Hunan Province

基于湖南省2001-2012年各市州的面板数据,利用面板协整模型分析了湖南省城市化、城乡收入差距与经济增长三者之间的关系,研究发现,湖南省城市化水平、城乡收入差距与经济增长存在长期稳定的面板协整关系;总体说来城市化和城乡收入差距、城乡收入差距和经济增长均表现为负相关关系,但是存在较大的区域性.

Based on the panel data from cities and states on 2001 -2012, this paper analyzes the relationship between urbaniza- tion, the income gap between urban and economic growth in Hunan province by using panel cointegration models. The results show that the level of urbanization and the urban - rural income gap exists a long - term and stability panel coin- tegration relations with economic growth in Hunan.
