Bis (diphenyl phosphate) imine (Htpop) was synthesized using a simple one‐step solvent method to remove thorium (IV) from aqueous solutions. The structure, functional group displacement, morphological differences, and elemental composition of the samples were analyzed using characterization techniques such as NMR, FTIR, SEM, EDS, and XPS.
