The Poloidal and Tangential X-ray imaging Crystal Spectrometers (PXCS and TXCS) were developed on Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) to provide spatially and temporally resolved plasmas ion temperature (Ti), electron temperature (Te) and rotation velocity (poloidal- and toroidal-, Vp and Vt) profiles.
