NTE-related esterase (NRE) is a novel endoplasmic reticulum-anchored lysophospholipase with high homology to neuropathy target esterase (NTE). However, little is known about the regulation of NRE protein. In the current study, we investigated the degradation pathways of mouse NRE (mNRE) in mammalian cells.
