The genes that control drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME) are also involved in carcinogenesis, cancer progression, and chemoresistance. However, no studies have systematically investigated the clinical significance and underlying functions of ADME genes in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
