The ASE (Amplified Spontaneous Emission) light source, based on erbium-doped fiber (EDF), is a broadband light source with advantages such as high power, excellent temperature stability, and low coherent light generation. It is widely used in the field of fiber optic sensing. However, traditional ASE sources suffer from temperature sensitivity and low efficiency, which can compromise the accuracy and stability of the output light's average wavelength.
