The occurrence speciation of uranium of a sand stone uranium deposit in the Yili Basin was quantitatively an alyzed by using the method of sequential chemical extrac tion. The proportion of uranium chemical speciation was divided into carbonates (mean of 44.58%), the Fe Mn oxides (mean of 28.46%), the exchangeable (mean of 12.51%), the residual (mean of 7.90,9%), and the sulfide-organic matter speciation (mean of 6.52G).
