Cancer immunotherapy with immune checkpoint inhibitors has achieved unprecedented success in cancer treatment; However, only a subset of patients achieved clinical benefit from this treatment, underscoring the urgent need to identify new strategies to enhance the clinical efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors.
