A novel core-shell magnetic nano-adsorbent with surface molecularly imprinted polymer coating was fabricated by copolymerization of dopamine and m-aminophenylboronic acid which were used as both monomers and cross-linkers in the presence of template Rh6G. The resulting adsorbent was then fully characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.
