Crack formation is a common problem in ceramic additive manufacturing (CAM) process. In this paper, the forming characteristics of indirect ceramic additive manufacturing (DCAM) and direct ceramic additive manufacturing (IDCAM) technologies are comprehensively compared. The morphology and spatial distribution characteristics of micro and macro cracks in CAM are summarized.
