Metal organic frameworks (K-beta-CD-MOFs and Cs-beta-CD-MOFs) were obtained on the basis of beta-cyclodextrin and alkali metals (K and Cs) through a modified vapor diffusion method. This way was at 50 degrees C for 12 h and the toxic CTAB was replaced by green PEG20000. Meanwhile, the myricetin (MYR, 2 mg/ml) was adsorbed by the two crystals (30 mg) in the same condition at 35 degrees C for 42 h. The result displayed high adsorption capacity (282.39 mg/g and 308.65 mg/g).
