The lightweight shielding design of the 10 MeV electron accelerator was optimized and simulated using the FLUKA code.Two separate studies were conducted:optimizing the dose rate of the source term and screening the shielding layer material.The results show that placing a tank filled with 6 cm of water under the electron beam window can reduce the dose rate of the source term by about 33.17%.Compared with the concrete shielding,the lightweight composite shielding material of"polyethylene+lead"can significantly save space,reduce the shielding th...
