The dispersion relation of the zonal flows in the tokamak plasma with toroidal rotation is derived by using the fluid model under the condition of isentropic equilibrium. The effect of toroidal rotation on the frequencies, pressure and density perturbations of the geodesic acoustic modes, low frequency zonal flows and sound wave modes are theoretically investigated, respectively. The results show that the toroidal rotation has no effect on the frequency of low frequency zonal flows, but can increase the frequency of geodesic acoustic modes gradually.
