In order to investigate the accumulation of different chemical species of uranium (U) in Macleaya cordata,the geochemical equilibrium software Visual MINTEQ was used to design five nutrient solutions containing UO_2~(2 +),CaUO_2 (CO_3 )_3~(2 -),UO_2Cit~-, (UO_2 )_2 (EDTA)_2 ~(4 -) and UO_2HPO_4,respectively,and hydroponic experiments on M. cordata were conducted in the nutrient solutions.
