A new solution to the reliability evaluation of mine ventilation equipment and facility was proposed using the combined method of evidence theory and neutral network. The outputs of multiple BP neural networks were firstly used as the basic probability distribution function of evidence theory. Then data fusion was conducted and the security degree of ventilation system was obtained according to the rules of evidence combination.
