The different air distributions inside a room containing one person and office furniture arranged by different inlet/outlet configurations in summer season were investigated. Based upon Fanger's thermal comfort model, numerical simulation was adopted to predict air flow pattern and human thermal comfort environment. Results were presented in the form of velocity vectors and the contours of velocity and temperature, in addition to, quantitative velocity and temperature distributions.
