Mercury is a highly toxic substance that can enter the human body through various pathways and accumulate, leading to chronic or acute poisoning. Accurate detection of mercury ions (Hg 2+ ) is crucial for preventing and controlling mercury pollution, as well as safeguarding human health and ecological safety.
