From the ethical perspective, this paper gives a thorough analysis to the image of Tai Erye Wiegen from Ibsen' s long poem of the same name, and finds out a process in his life from initial happiness to later aphasia, from depression to salvation and vigor again in his life, which results from recovery of identity of son of a man, father of a man and husband of a woman, and thus reveals the tragedy.
