庞德翻译的中国古诗一直以来都是争论的焦点,有些学者认为他的翻译不忠实于原文。但是从目的论的角度来审视庞德的翻译,其实有些所谓的误译恰恰是对原文的创造性翻译。通过对庞德英译李白名诗《长干行》的分析,以目的论为视角,探讨了庞德的翻译目的和为实现其翻译目的而采取的翻译策略。

Pound＇s translation of Chinese ancient poetry has long been a hot topic of dispute,since some scholars deem that his versions are not truthful to the original ones.However,when analyzed from the perspective of skopos theory,some so-called translation errors are just creative translations.This paper aims at making an analysis of Pound＇s C-E translation of the River-Merchant＇s Wife： A Letter,revealing the translation purposes and accordingly translation strategies...
