KRAS (Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog) mutations are associated with the development of many types of cancers and are also related to the cancer sensitivities to selected drugs. Genetic testing of KRAS mutation using cancer tissues has been well developed, but assays targeting circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) of KRAS mutations are to be developed in order to meet the requirements for clinical applications.
