Identifying cell populations associated with risk variants is essential for uncovering cell-specific mechanisms that drive disease development and progression. Integrating genome-wide association studies (GWAS) with single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) has become an effective strategy for detecting trait-cell relationships.
