In osteoarthritis , hypochlorous acid (HClO)—a critical biomarker of inflammation—and neutrophil elastase (NE)—a key mediator of inflammatory responses—undergo significant changes. Fluorescent probes , which offer high sensitivity and real-time visualization, have been widely employed for osteoarthritis imaging.
