Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality globally. Recent groundbreaking preclinical and clinical research underscores the pivotal role of metabolite remodelling in the pathology of CVD. This metabolic transformation not only directly fuels the progression of CVD but also profoundly influences the immune response within the cardiovascular system.
