INTRODUCTION: The effect of diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI)-guided dose-painting intensity-modulated radiation therapy (DP-IMRT) on locally advanced recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) remains unclear.
