Ultrasound-triggered sonodynamic therapy (SDT) presents growing promise in deep-seated or unresectable tumor inhibition because of the perfect tissue penetration ability. However, its therapeutic efficacy is always restricted by the limited reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation ability of sonosensitizers.
