In summary, we tried to boost the thermal stability of PSCs based on Y-series acceptors Y5-F-Br by polymerizing Y5-F-Br obtaining PFA1, and establish a precise correlation between the molecular structure and device thermal stability. Compared to the short-chain Y5-F-Br acceptor, the long-chain PFA1 acceptor may be entangled with the long-chain PTzBI-oF donor to form a similar “molecular lock” structure, which may effectively enhance the thermal stability of the PSCs at elevated temperatures.
