Flotation tests were carried out to improve the reeovery of nickel minerals from a Ni-Mo ore. According to molecular dynamics simulations, the adsorption energy of eetylpyridinium chlorides (CPC) on nickel oxide is -443.04 k J/tool, smaller than its adsorption energy on fluorapatite, which is -420.16 kJ/mol.
